Life is like a movie, without the happpy endings.
Love this movie anyways.
and the poem:
I hate the way you talk to me,
and the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car,
I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boots
and the way you read my mind.
I hate you so much it makes me sick,
it even makes me rhyme.
I hate the way you’re always right,
I hate it when you lie.
I hate it when you make me laugh,
even worse when you make me cry.
I hate it when you’re not around,
and the fact that you didn’t call.
But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you,
not even close…
not even a little bit…
not even at all.

Just Remember...
You are the only one that can keep you from success.
You are the only one that can make you fail.
You are the only one that can tell you, you can't do something.
If failure is never an option, success is the only outcome.
You can succeed.
You can achieve.
You can never fail.

Always choose success.
You are the only one that can make you fail.
You are the only one that can tell you, you can't do something.
If failure is never an option, success is the only outcome.
You can succeed.
You can achieve.
You can never fail.
Always choose success.

LOVE
One word. One simple 4 letter word. Can hold a lifetime of meaning.
Whenever we talk about love, it is always of the happiness, the life, the "warm feeling", the butterflies it brings to us.
But never of the pain, one simple 4 letter word can bring.
Giving away your heart to the person you love is the easy part.
But no one ever speaks of the unspeakable.
The never getting every piece back in the end.
It takes courage, and strength to pick yourself up after the unspeakable and love again.
After all, love IS happiness right?
"Love is a many splendor thing." right?

The Social Networks
It's amazing how people can claim to have "relationships" without ever talking to another in person. I love social networks, don't get me wrong. They are a great way to keep in contact with family and friends you aren't able to see that often. But to think of the 100, 200, 300+ "friends" a person can have on a social network, and live in the SAME city, or county for that matter, and never take the 5, 10, 20 minute drive to see them IN PERSON is just unthinkable.
I guess I shouldn't act like my shit don't stink, but I know my shit DOES stink. I know i'm very much as guilty as anyone else of not taking the 5 minute drive to see a friend. Instead I, facebook message them, or text them, or email them. And can claim to be best of friends with someone. Wrong.
How different it must have been before telephones, cellphones, laptops, pagers. How different it must have been to walk next door to play a board game with your neighbor, instead of getting on your video game console to play "live" with your next door neighbor. How different it must have been for family's to sit together to listen to the radio instead of sit together to be on their cellphones and not say one word to each other.

How different...
Then....
And Now...
And parents wonder why they didnt see the signs that their son/daughter was deppressed? Lonely? Isolated?
WAKE UP WORLD
We don't spend half the time that we spend on the internet, that we do actually intereacting with our family or friends in person.
Ironic isn't it? Me... pointing out the fact that we need to spend less time on the internet and more time with our family and friends?
Like I said, I know my shit stinks. This is my problem too. Maybe it's just something we all have to get used to.
